2. Orienteering activity

When: February 17, 2020 – 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Here’s a fun Family Day event that will combine two great outdoor activities: orienteering and snowshoeing!

Don't know what orienteering is?

It's a perfect family activity that will get your brain working as well as your body!

Orienteering is a sport where you need to find a series of checkpoints outdoors using only a map and a compass.

The goal is to visit all checkpoints in the shortest amount of time. Come and hone your map reading skills while snowshoeing in the forest!

Everyone will meet at the lower parking lot of the K.C. Irving Regional Centre. Bring your own compass or, if you don’t have one, compasses will be available from the organizers.

All ages and experience levels are welcome.
