The City of Bathurst is planning a fun evening of celebrations this year for Canada Day, on Friday, July 1st starting at 4pm. Many musicians and food trucks will be there. At around 10:30 pm, fireworks will lit the sky! Click HERE for more details.
The city of Beresford will held celebrations at Beresford's beach.
The village of Pointe-Verte will held celebrations at their Municipal Building from 1:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.
To be noted that the ''Club amical de l'âge d'or'' will be selling hotdogs and fries at the cost of 1$ each. The bar will also be opened for the occasion. Only cash will be accepted.
Canada Day: Canada Day, also known as "Dominion Day", takes place on July 1st of each year. In 1867, this date was chosen to be the "effective date of the Confederation Act" by Queen Victoria. Today, Canadians and visitors from around the world celebrate Canadian diversity with music, joy and festivities. Don't be surprised to see people dressed in red and white and to hear the sound of fireworks in the evening.
