Things to Do in Bathurst: Youghall Beach

Enjoy free access to some of the warmest waters in Eastern Canada! 

Youghall Beach Park is a great meeting place for all ages, offering you swimming, Marina, volleyball, or just lazing in the sun! The park is fully operational from June to August and offers lifeguards for your peace of mind. Come enjoy our golden sands and beautiful blue waters!

Here, take your time and enjoy the sunrise or the sunset, walk along the boardwalk that reaches the beach from many access points or on the beautiful clean and sandy beach and simply relax. 

On site, you can find a canteen, washroom and warm-water shower facilities, 5 beach volleyball courts, an outdoor theatre and a children park and playground area. More than 200 free parking spots are available. 

At the tip of Youghall beach, a boat slip is accessible and this spot is also ideal for mackerel and striped bass fishing.

New for 2021: Youghall Beach now has two floating wheelchair allowing people with physical disabilities to fully enjoy Youghall Beach. These will be available at the lifeguard station located near the beach's main building during the lifeguard hours.
