The 2023 edition of the Cranberry Festival will take place on October 14-15 in Pokeshaw!

The 3rd edition of the Cranberry Festival will take place on Saturday October 14th and on Sunday October 15th in Pokeshaw. This year, take advantage of the Canwick cranberry beds tours, Founding Culture Museum, maple sugar camp, lobster boat, automated greenhouse, apple pressing and history at the Park. A Café and Market will be open. Theatre is The Tide Recedes by Character Matters Miramichi- a play about 3 immigrants who became shipbuilders on Beaubear Island in 1830’s 40’s. 

Schedule:

Saturday, October 14th:

  • Green Day Pass $15.00 incl all tours.                             
  • 9-12 Cranberry Bog Tours
  • 10-4  Museum Tours. 
  • 10-4 Café & Market.
  • 1-2 Lobster Boat Fishing.
  • 2-3:30 “Drop-In” Apple Cider Making.                          
  • 2:45-3:30 Automated Greenhouse Tour
  • 4-5 Theatre The Tide Recedes $15.00

Sunday, October 15th:

  • Orange Day Pass $15.00                                  
  • 9-12 Cranberry Bog Tours
  • 10-4 Café & Market
  • 11-12 Automated Greenhouse
  • 12:30- 2:30 Maple Syrup Excursion
  • 3-4 History at the Park
