The Fine Grobe on Sea was founded in 1973, in his house, by Mr. Georges Frachon first as art gallery and gastronomic club for 17 years, then, year round as restaurant and inn. Located at On the edge of Chaleur Bay, at the mouth of the Nigadoo River, the property includes a century-old forest, a sea beach and a river beach. It is also an ecosystem of exchange between salt water and fresh water. You can see salmon, mallard ducks, herons, bitterns, kingfishers, eagles and many seabirds. The house was built in the 1950s by Dr. Georges Comeau, as a cottage summer. It has two floors. The dining room, on the first floor, overlooks the sea and includes a home well appreciated in winter. The second floor has two bedrooms with private bathroom on the sea side and a small private dining room. Come live the experience George Frachon!
